I hope you’ve had some nice relaxing time of over the holidays – luckily for me I don’t go back to school until January 9th. I’m a little late to do the whole ‘what I got for Christmas’ jazz but I still wanted to share a few of my favourite things that I recieved.
My Dad and Step-mum have gotten me tickets to see 100 years of Disney on ice which I think is so cool! My Mum got me so much – she always spoils me and I am grateful – but my favourite things are the new Real Technique brushes, Lush bath bombs and Finding Dory Blu-ray. Then when Haydn arrived on December 29th I was spoiled to even more presents including the most stunning gold tree of life necklace form Warren James. I’m thankful for all the wonderful things my family and close friends got for me this year.
Now – onto New Years. I’m quite against the whole New Year, New Me motto – not because I don’t think people can change but because I believe you can change at any point of the year not just the 1st of January. As mentioned above Haydn came to visit on December 29th and he only left yesterday January 2nd so we got to spend our New Years together; seeing as we are such crazy party animals we stayed in ordered takeaway and watched Dave and Mike need wedding dates (good movie I do recommend).
Whilst I had a fairly good 2016 – kinda rocky in parts but over all not to bad – starting a New Year is still exciting. I haven’t really made any resolutions other than to try and be less stressed but that’s difficult with A-levels, Work and a LDR (long distance relationship) to uphold. I can’t wait to see where life takes me this year.
Hello 2017 – I’m ready for you
