I’m not a beauty guru or by any means actually good at makeup. However, I still love makeup as much as the next girl and of course I have my favourite products! I thought it’d be fun to share these with you.
- Collection – Lasting collection concealer £4.19
If you’ve not heard of this product before then I think you need a better Wi-Fi connection. But seriously this is so cheap and actually works! I have acne and constant breakouts so I need something thick that’ll cover it – this is the one! The only down side is that there are only 4 colours and the oxidise and get darker. I don’t want to spend a ton of time on this product seeing as its so highly spoken about on YouTube.
- Maybelline Stay Matte foundation £5.99
This is my favourite foundation at the moment! I’d say this is a medium coverage foundation and is buildable although I only ever use it as a medium coverage as that’s the kind of product I like. Of course one of the key reasons I love this so much is because of the cheap price. More than that though the foundation doesn’t make me look overly greasy (I always get some grease as I have combination skin) nor does it heavily sink into my smile lines or forehead lines. Another bonus with this product is it works well with every other product I’ve used it with – pressed powders, blush, contour etc. There’s a fairly good shade range to that consists of 19 different colours. Only possible downside is that it doesn’t have a pump it’s a squeeze tube but honestly that’s never bothered me.
- The Body Shop All in one face base £15
If you’re looking for a product that you can just throw on in the morning, don’t want to use foundation but still want your skin to look evened out or you simple want to try a powder with a little more coverage I can’t recommend this enough. I’ve already done a full review on this product so click HERE to view that! Briefly though this product goes on super easily, evens your skin tone as it has a light to almost medium coverage and is the perfect product for mornings where you don’t want to spend time putting on a foundation.
- I Heart Makeup Highlight
This is the best highlight I’ve ever used! It’s shimmery and shows up well. Blinding drugstore highlight for sure!
- L’Oreal Baby Doll Roll Mascara £7.99
It’s a little bit risky including this product as I’ve only used it twice now but I thought I’d share it still as I do think it’s a great product! I got mine in the black shade but there are other colours like teal and purple if you are more adventurous. The brush looks like a helter skelter fun fair slide which I think is so fun and a really cute way to add something extra to a mascara applicator. The volume – DAMN! My lashes look great, there longer darker but not clumpy. I’m not even going to hide the fact that this is extremely comparable to my Benefit Roller Lash Mascara! I’m going to do a further review and probably a comparison on this product. If your looking for a great drugstore mascara then this is your new best friend.
If you have tired any of these products leave me a comment down below and tell me what you think! I’d love to know your opinion. What are you go to makeup products?
Still hoping my sign of looks cute,
