I hope you’re doing well? Happy New Year to you all and thank you so much for helping me reach 800 Followers! On Boxing Day I treated myself to the Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer. I picked up a sample of Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer whilst away in Prague and I’ve been loving it. This is a pretty pricey concealer in comparison to what I usually use, in Space NK I brought it for £24! Of course at this price I put my expectations high and have decided its time to share my review with you all.
The sales assistant in store colour matched me to Cannelle which is one of the lighter shades with more of a yellow undertone. The packaging feels heavy and of good quality which is good considering how much I paid for it. What is shocking is that this doesn’t seem like a big pot at all.
From the close up you can see I have started to use this product but hardly any has gone. I’ve used this around 10 times but hardly any of the product has gone. The product goes such a long way which makes the tub a much better value for money of course it is still highend. It’s really up to you whether you think it’s worth the money. However, personally splurging on an item like this is what I enjoy spending my money on – plus I used my Christmas money to pick this on up.
Annoyingly the photo of my swatch is blurry but hopefully you can still get a little sense of how far I have spread one swipe of product across my hand. The coverage is hard to explain from this product but it is so full coverage which I definitely need on my acne prone skin. As the name describes this is quite a matte product and whilst the formula is creamy, it’s also quite drying. Personally I don’t mind this on my skin type but if you do have dry skin you might find this product goes ‘crusty’ and defines the dry patches on your skin. On the other hand, oily skin types – like myself – this is a winning concealer in my opinion. It lasts well and doesn’t look patchy or become separated on the skin which is what I usually find with my cheaper concealers such as Collection Lasting Perfection.
Overall this is a really great product that has a lot of positives as mentioned. The high price point and small pot size is a touch of putting but it goes along way and preforms incredibly so it’s really up to you and your budget to decide if this is a product you’d want to spend out on.
