I hope you’re doing well? I thought it was about time I made Haydn do another blog post with me. Last time we did a post together was September 2017 so it’s definitely been long enough. Over on our couples Instagram @211_miles I asked our followers to send us in some questions and this time Haydn will be the one to answer them – with my assistance if needed of course. Enough intro, let’s get to it.
Q: What’s your favourite memory together and have you got any exciting plans for this year?
Q2: Whats your favourite thing about each other?
Q3: How long have you been fighting the distance for?
A: The first summer we spent together. It was just nice to meet Charlotte’s family and explore our home towns together. This year we have so many things planned, a night away in York to see Beauty and the Beast orchestral version, our summer holiday (which we will be officially announcing soon) and obviously the big one of moving in together.
A2: Mine – I can’t chose just one, it’s everything. Charlotte’s – Haydn is so supportive and it’s cliche to say personality (although obviously I’m into his looks too) but honestly I don’t think theirs anyone I’d be more compatible with.
A3: We met in Summer 2015 but didn’t start our official LDR until April 2016. So on paper 2 years but we fell in love somewhere during that time frame so technically over 2 and a half years.
Q: What is the best activity you enjoy doing together when you are far away?
A: We sometimes play app games such as Quizup but most of our time is spent Netflix and Skyping.
Q: How long did it take one another to see each other in person?
A: 8/9 months we met in August 2015 and then met in person April 2016. Although there was a month or so in between where we didn’t talk at all.
Q: What are your dream careers?
A: Mine – Astronaut, Charlotte’s – Full Time Blogger/Social Media influencer
Q: How did you meet?
Q.2: Favourite go to date night?
A: We’re a long distance couple so our meeting wasn’t exactly conventional… Charlotte’s done an entire blog post explaining our story which you can read HERE!
A.2: Our favourite thing to do is go for dinner at Wildwood (it’s this gorgeous restaurant, with stunning interior and just overall romantic vibes) and then head home with a bag of popcorn & a watch a movie in bed together.
Q: Take us through you first visit, emotions and all!
A: Similarly with the last question Charlotte’s done an in-depth post going through this experience from her perspective, so co read there HERE. For me though it was mostly excitement, actually meeting her felt comforting and instantly all good.
Q: Whats the hardest thing that has ever happened in you’re relationship?
A: Probably the long gaps between visits with nothing planned for the next one – it makes the time in between feel endless. (Of course we realise we are lucky to have such frequent visits but it does get hard for us too)
I hope you enjoyed this little Q&A, especially as you were able to read Haydn’s answers to these questions. If you ever have any questions or need relationship advice I am always happy to help so just get in contact.
