Spring Inspired Makeup || Collaborative Lookbook

Hey Guys,

I hope you’re doing well? This post has been a long time coming and one of my toughest yet if I’m being honest. I set out to do this as a huge collaborative post with a tonne of different bloggers, but I just didn’t get much interest. Although saying that myself and 4 other lovely girls have put together some looks ready to share. Enough intro – let’s get into this.

Becca:

Spring is the perfect time to freshen up your makeup look and start implementing some colour into your routine! My go-to Spring look is a neutral face, matte pink lips and some gold eyeshadow; it’s subtle enough to look slightly natural but gives you some glow and I love adding a pop of colour with the eyeshadow.

This look incorporates natural and brighter makeup, and as I’m currently making the transition between cruelty and cruelty-free makeup, many of the products listed below are actually new additions to my collection.

Products used:

  • Eyes – No7 Lovely Lashes Mini Mascara
  • The Body Shop Kohl Eye Definer
  • NYX EYESHADOW
  • Revolution Eyeshadow in Flawless 3 Resurrection

  • Kate for Rimmel Highlight & Contour Palette

My Look:

I love the Spring/Summer months the longer days and brighter skies just make everything feel a little better. In all honesty I usually just do a very light, natural look during this time of year, particularly as my freckles come out and I actually like having them on show. However, I wanted to make a look that included an eye look so I grabbed my Two Faced Sweet Peach palette and ABH Modern Renaissance and here’s what I came up with.

Products used:

  • Collection Mattifying Primer – Prime & Ready
  • Revolution Foundation Stick C4
  • Revolution Conceal and Define C2 & C7
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
  • Collection Highlight & Sculpt kit
  • Bobbi Brown – Gel Liner (eyebrows)
  • Two Faced Sweet Peach Palette
  • ABH Modern Renaissance Palette
  • NIP & FAB liquid lipstick shade Pink Lemonade

I really hope you enjoyed this collab post. The girls featured are all truly beautiful and it was great to get the chance to work with them. I hope to do more collaborative posts (particularly over the Summer) so if you’d like to do something together my emails are always open – charliestarblogs@gmail.com or use the Contact Page
