Long Distance Relationship Gift Guide ||LDR

Hey Guys,

I hope your are doing well? I’m super excited because we are finally on the countdown to Christmas – my favourite time of year! If you’re a loyal follower you might have noticed that this year I’m not doing blogmas, I’m a little gutted and super jealous seeing everyone else’s adorable posts but honestly I just didn’t have the prep time to get everything set up. HOWEVER… I do still have some great festive posts lined up for you and this is one I’m particularly excited about. Haydn and I are now lucky enough to be living together but previously we have been in a long distance relationship (LDR) for over 2 years. Trying to find great gifts for your long distance love can be a struggle, so hopefully this post will help give you some inspiration.

  1. 12 days of “lovemas” with Paperless Post! This is a brand I have worked with a few times before, I love what they stand for and the environmentally friendly business that they have. They literally do what it is says, you can send mail to anyone, anywhere over the internet. The idea for this gift is potentially the cutest – imagining waking up everyday with a new eCard from your love with an adorable note… I’d cry! I’d recommend using Paperless Post to help you easily design and send out these cards everyday and make your partner their very own “lovemas”. (P.S. If you do decided to participate in my newly made tradition of “lovemas” please tag me in your posts on Instagram @lifeafterdistance so I can share your creations!)
  2. Feel the snuggle with a Boyfriend Blanket! As you might have already seen I previously received PR from this brand and have since reviewed it on my blog. It’s making another appearance because I have been loving a comfy Netflix binge wrapped up in this weighted blanket. The brand Founder Patrick is an amazing guy and not only do I really believe in this product I think it’d be great for anyone in an LDR. Long distance boyfriends get buying because your girlfriend will LOVE this! The weight really does help you to feel like you’re being cuddled and honestly, if I were still in an LDR I could see myself loving this for the time Haydn and I were apart. If you fancy winning one of these products then check out the post or my Instagram for the details.

  3. Get creative with the#LDR Activity Book!I’ve got another Kick-starter product here for you and for this one you’ve got to act quick as the campaign ends on the 10th! The #LDR Activity Book is a fun filled book (obviously) that is designed for and by long distance couples. Each chapter includes best practices, tips on what worked for the authors (a real LDR couple) and finishes with an activity that you complete independently or with your partner. For a single copy this works out at just £20 but the kick-starter ends on the 10th December so you only have this weekend to purchase!

  4. Make it personal with Not On The HighstreetI can’t remember I time where I haven’t mentioned this website on gift guides I’ve created… but I still love them! Receiving a personalised gift is just that extra bit special and for me is something I always cherish. Haydn has brought me a few personalised gifts and not only have I loved them all, I also feel that they are something other people need to be buying. Favourites on the site are the watch stand, adventure photo frame and a wooden co-ordinates keyring

If you want an extra idea feel free to contact me, I have brought this for Haydn and therefor can’t shout about it but if you are still struggling then please do get in touch! What gift did your LDR love get you last Christmas? Let me know in the comments below.
